On December 15 2017, we abandoned our usual uniforms and opted for festive jumpers. It was such a lovely day for this event, everyone was in such high spirits and bright colours the winter chill could not slow affect our mood. the Year 2 put on their show to a packed audience of parents many of them in their jumpers as well. Each child donated £1 to be given to the Save the Children Charity. Classes were conducted with a festive focus weaving, painting techniques, origami Christmas decorations, calculations of percentage shrinkage on jumpers when they are washed, fractions of children and staff in the same style jumper the flexibility of application was mind boggling. some classes ended the day with their end of term party . Other children just held on as they anticipated the fun of the coming PTFA disco later in the evening.
