Our Community
Pastoral Care & Discipline
Our pastoral care is based on our strong belief in Gospel values. At St. Antony’s we aim to follow the Government’s Every Child Matters agenda which states that children should: “Be healthy, Stay Safe, Enjoy and Achieve, Make a positive contribution and achieve economic well being.” Underpinning this is our SEAL programme which focuses on the Social and Emotional Aspects of Learning.
We have developed a behaviour policy that is underpinned by the need for mutual trust and respect. Rules are kept to a minimum. Rewards and sanctions are used to help children develop self-discipline and understanding. Parents will be contacted when we feel that their additional support and co-operation is needed. The current behaviour policy can be found in the Policies section.

St. Antony’s Primary School is in the parish school of St. Antony’s Church and was founded by the parish for the education of its children. The relationship between the school and the parish is close.
The school makes many visits to St. Antony’s Church for Mass, concerts and educational opportunities.
The priests are always available for any parent or teacher.
The parish of St. Antony’s is proud of its school and its long tradition of supporting children so that they may grow intellectually, emotionally and, most importantly, in their relationship with God and His Church.
