Remembrance Day commemorations

For today's Remembrance Day commemorations, our Y6 pupils gathered at the Cenotaph in East Ham, along with a number of other schools from across Newham to pay respects to all those who served in the First World War.

Each school brought their own individual tributes, and in line with tradition, our Y6s delivered an outstanding redition of 'In Flanders Fields' (which you can see in the attached video).

Rohksana Fiaz, Mayor of Newham, was particular moved by their performance and came to share her delight with children for their efforts.
