The virtue of the week is Courage

The virtue of the week is Courage. The children and teacher of Beech class were courageous and shared with us their assembly. They stated the facts of the united nation convention of rights for children. This document has 54 articles. That cover all aspects of a child’s life. Every child has rights, all the rights are linked none are more important than the other. Article 31 children have the right to relax and play, article 13 states that children have the right to freedom of expression as long as their expression does not hurt someone else. Additionally, children have the right to Education (article 28) and the right to be safe from violence (article 19).

The children shared these articles and reminded us that with these rights we all had a responsibility. It takes courage to accept and correctly use these rights responsibly.
