Parents' History Workshop

PARENTS' HISTORY WORKSHOP 2023 WAS A BLAST!!
THANKS TO ALL OUR PARENTS AND CARERS FOR ATTENDING IN THEIR NUMBERS AND OF COURSE, OUR HISTORY LEAD, MRS. UTHMAN.

AS WE ALL KNOW, HISTORY IS CREATED EVERY DAY AND IMPACTS WHAT WE DO, HOW WE WORK AND THE PROGRESS WE MAKE.

WE DISCUSSED OUR SCHOOL'S HISTORY CURRICULUM: OUR BLACK HISTORY MONTH'S FOCUS AND THEME: YOUNG GIFTED AND GREAT WITH THE INTENT OF INSPIRING ALL OUR CHILDREN TO GREATNESS! OUR YEAR 6 CHILDREN EXPRESSED THE IMPORTANCE OF LEARNING HISTORY AND HOW PROUD THEY ARE TO BE YOUNG GIFTED AND GREAT!!

WE PARTICIPATED IN A RANGE OF ACTIVITIES LINKED TO OUR DISCREET HISTORY THEMES TAUGHT IN CLASS - EXPLAINING THE LEARNING FOCI AND PROGRESSION OF PUPILS' LEARNING FROM EARLY YEARS TO YEAR 6.

EVERYONE WAS VERY ENGAGED IN IDENTIFYING PEOPLE IN THEIR FAMILY TREE ACTIVITY AS WELL NAMING OUR YOUNG GIFTED AND GREAT ICONS WHICH WE ARE STUDYING IN SCHOOL THIS TERM.

THE FEEDBACK WAS EXTREMELY POSITIVE! THANK YOU AND WELL DONE!
